I’m a product design leader and educator driven by the belief that technology exists to serve human needs. I have a relationship driven approach to building products with an emphasis on individual ownership and creating safe spaces for teams to take risks.
I currently lead Global Software Experience for Kindle reading devices at Amazon. Our teams own the end-to-end experience for Kindle devices and apps delivering the best digital reading experiences in the world. Before Amazon, I served as faculty in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University and Executive Director of the Masters in HCI. Before that, I had the opportunity to help build the user experience team at Mastercard and launch the Mastercard Developers product and developer experiences.
